I remember reading CTL-ALT-DEL's description of the female protagonist mentioning how she enjoyed "long walks between towns in RPG's" and it really struck a chord with me: RPG's are definetely my favourite genre.
Especially when Squaresoft was at the top of it's game: Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 3 was loads of fun too), FF 6, 7 and 8; I did enjoy 9 quite a bit though, despite how cartoony it was. The only part I really liked about FF10 was Auron, and the way you leveled the character up, which was way better than in FF 8 or 9.
I brought our PS2 and Disgaea 2 on our honeymoon because we had logged over 400 hours on Disgaea. It was actually thanks to Disgaea that I realized I loved the man who was to become my husband: nothing like a road trip down to the States to get a video game to win me over (no, really, I'm serious).
I unfortunately stopped playing Lost Odyssey as I was really getting into it because of GTA coming out; I really should go back and finish that game. Same goes for Dragon Age, but that's because my son was born, not because I restarted playing GTA. I seriously can't drive in that game.
I'm also a huge Harvest Moon and The Sims franchise fan.
TL; DR cliff notes:
1. I'm a nerd
2. I'm a Final Fantasy Fangirl (alliteration, FTW!)
3. I enjoy pretending I have God-like powers.
